What “accredited surgical facility” really means
In Ontario, certain out-of-hospital surgical premises are inspected under a CPSO program.

In Ontario, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) runs the Out-of-Hospital Premises Inspection Program (OHPIP). It assesses premises where certain procedures and levels of anesthesia or sedation are used, against published standards.
In plain language, inspections look at the things you would hope someone is checking: equipment, medications, monitoring, infection control, record keeping and emergency readiness.
Why we care: choosing a surgeon is only half of safety. The room matters. Ask any clinic you consider: Is the facility accredited? Who is the anesthesia provider? What is the plan if something goes wrong?
Our facility is an accredited surgical centre under the CPSO OHPIP. See questions to ask for a checklist.
